How to Use
Wet a dish brush and swirl it over the soap directly inside the coconut shell to create a rich lather. Wash and rinse dishes as usual.
To use with a dishcloth or sponge, lift the soap out of the shell and rub it against the damp cloth or sponge.
Care: Allow the soap and coconut shell to dry between uses. Avoid leaving standing water inside the shell.

Victoria's Note
I've spent quite some time experimenting with dishwashing soaps and even homemade dishwasher detergents. Frankly, I wasn't impressed with the results of my dishwasher detergent experiments. I wanted dishes that came out sparkling clean, and none of the formulas quite delivered.
Meanwhile, I found myself using the dishwasher less and washing more dishes by hand. So I decided to concentrate on creating a dish soap I would actually love using.
And this one turned out to be a winner!
First, I love the coconut shell. It's beautiful enough to leave on the countertop, and I can create a wonderful lather right inside it with my dish brush and a bit of water. Second, the soap feels incredibly smooth — hence the name Velvety Lemon. Third, the scent is simply amazing.
And then came an unexpected discovery.
Yes, I know, non-stick pans aren't exactly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the Blue Aeon philosophy. But I do use them occasionally! Some of mine have needed periodic conditioning, and since I started washing them with this soap, I've noticed I haven't needed to condition them separately.
Whether that's something others will experience, I can't say. But it has certainly been a pleasant surprise.
Sometimes the most satisfying products are the ones we create to make our own everyday lives a little better.
