How to Use

Massage a small amount onto the chest, upper back, or soles of the feet. For easier spreadability, warm the balm gently between fingers before application. May also be applied warm by softening slightly prior to use.

When my son was small, he was highly susceptible to intense seasonal coughs. A dear friend once shared a traditional rural remedy with me — using leaf lard as a chest balm. Sometimes I would melt it gently in a spoon before applying it warm; other times I used it as is. I knew nothing about essential oils then.
